31st Rallye Maroc Classic 2026

Stage 1: Rabat > Bin El Ouidane

This morning, the 31st edition of the Rallye Maroc Classic connected Rabat to Bin El Ouidane over 320 kilometers. From the very start, crews had to prioritize precision and consistency, putting speed aside. The first kilometers through the outskirts allowed them to get into rhythm, check their settings, and establish initial reference points, while discovering the first views of the hills surrounding the capital.

ZR1 – The competition begins The first regularity test, “Oued Sabab,” immediately demanded rigor and precision. With changing average speeds and variations in elevation, crews had to stay sharp to maintain the imposed pace. The winding roads already revealed spectacular panoramas of plains and hills, a reminder that every turn of the rally offered a new landscape.

ZR2 & ZR3 – Pure regularity At the UTAC circuit in Oued Zem, regularity took on another dimension. With no traffic or unexpected factors, the two tests emphasized pure precision. With no Joker allowed, every deviation was immediately penalized, forcing crews to remain consistent from the first corner to the last. Even in this closed environment, the surrounding terrain and the morning light created an almost cinematic atmosphere at every pass.

Heading for the Atlas After the circuit, the road toward the Beni Mellal region offered a smoother transition. The landscapes evolved into fertile plains, lush crops, and terrain gradually rising toward the first slopes of the Atlas Mountains. A moment to refocus, while staying fully concentrated before the final challenge of the day.

ZR4 – Finishing with intensity The “Timoulilt” stage closed this leg with a demanding climb in the Atlas. A series of bends and hairpins made maintaining the average speed particularly challenging. As drivers climbed higher, the red and ochre mountain landscapes unfolded, adding an exceptional visual dimension to the technical challenge.

An already revealing stage The finish at the Widiane Resort & Spa, on the shores of Lake Bin El Ouidane, marked the end of a serious and already selective day. The gaps remain small, but this first stage clearly set the tone: everything here is decided by precision, in a breathtaking setting.
