STAGE 2 : BIN EL OUIDANE > BIN EL OUIDANE

31st Rallye Maroc Classic 2026

Stage 2: Bin El Ouidane > Bin El Ouidane

Today, the Rallye Maroc Classic remained centered around Bin El Ouidane with a loop stage, a first for this 31st edition. Over 261 kilometers, crews tackled demanding terrain, combining mountain roads, technical sequences, and breathtaking panoramas. Lush valleys, red and ochre mountains, and reflections of the lake accompanied every section, offering an almost poetic setting for the competition.

ZR5, ZR6 and ZR7 – A morning to establish positions The day began with ZR5 “Timoulilt 2,” the longest special stage of the rally, partially retracing the previous day’s route but in reverse. Between descents, acceleration zones, and technical sections, each crew had to adjust their pace from the very first kilometers. ZR6 “Tissakht” confirmed the trend with a demanding course run at a single average speed, where consistency and commitment had to remain perfectly balanced. The morning concluded with ZR7, before returning to the hotel for a welcome break, with the calming view of the lake and mountains as a backdrop.

ZR8 and ZR9 – Management and precision in the afternoon The afternoon began with ZR8, turning a familiar route into a true regularity challenge. The winding roads and enchanting landscapes of the region created a striking contrast between intense concentration and visual wonder. The day ended with ZR9, the shortest stage of the rally. Over just a few uphill kilometers, it demanded focus and precision until the very last moment, while the warm colors of late afternoon bathed the mountains and lake in a magical light.

A stage that tightens the competition In the heart of the Atlas, on demanding and spectacular roads, the gaps narrowed subtly. This loop stage confirmed one clear fact: consistency remains the key. Back at the Widiane Resort & Spa, crews were able to relax in a magnificent natural setting, but the standings have already begun to take shape, and the next stages promise even closer competition.
